Damage ratios: Help please!
I've been trying to figure out the "Damage Level" for my character using guides I've found here and there, but I'm sill as confused as ever about it! Maybe you guys here can help me by answering a few questions for me, and explaining how you did it in plain english would be awesome too.
1.) Whats the difference between strength and swordsmanship, and which will help me do more damage the higher the level gets?
2.) If I have a Level 20 Warrior using a Max Damage sword, 15-22 Dmg., then what will be the actual damage output if I raise the attribute levels to 13?
Thanks as always people!

I have read, and still do not uderstand, this web page several times. Which is why I asked someone for actual help.
For example, I have no idea what this means:
"If the Rank of the linked attribute is greater than a threshold of Level/2+2, then there is a DLBonus of - 3 × [Rank - (Level/2+2)], serving as a diminishing return. The square bracket term in this case rounds up (towards zero)."

with 12 points in swordmanship you get 100% damage, with 11 its something like 92, but with 13 its only around 103%.. someone could post the table which showes it.. i go to sleep

Raising sword will increase your damage more than raising strength, the AP from strength is next to worthless and only triggers when you use attack skills.

I'm still trying to figure out what the GuildWiki page classifies as "Untyped Damage" under special damage types.
And if it's damage from a spell gone awry, is it "Misspelled?"

For the most part, Strength is worthless unless you're using skills that are based in strength. Do not put points in strength for the inherent bonus it gives like you would with all the other class' primary attributes.
